“Fuck”, she mutters and wonders if she can pretend that she hadn’t woken up.

I had the worst dream last night. Most of it is pretty confused but the part I do remember had me and the Girl in a poorly built house trying to stem the zombie tide. These were not your average B-movie zombies either. They were grotesque and horrible and hungry. It was awful. I woke up screaming. J had to comfort me and tell me a story to make me go back to sleep.
Yes, I know that I am an adult. I couldn’t shake the imagery without someone distracting my brain.
That happened at 3 AM this morning. Sleep after that little gem of a dream was light and dozish, at best.
Nightmares suck
When they’re that bad, I have problems shaking the imagery as well. I usually wake S up and he talks to me. If it’s really bad and I need to go p, I make him come with me… yeah, we’re adults but sometimes things like that bring out the inner child.

Sleep better tonight. 🙂
Re: Nightmares suck
Thank you honey. I will try.
Yikes, that sounds like a horrible dream.
My dream involved Angel and Buffy (I was Buffy) at the mall. I think that may be more disturbing than zombies. That rat bastard Angel cheated on me. 😉
See? If I were Angel I would not piss off the girl who could kill me in a permanent sort of way.
