and this is why I need to watch Black Adder again. *dead*
He’s also this smashing chap:
and this brave fellow:
Ahh, Bertie Wooster. Much love for him and Stephen Fry in that series.
And seriously, where the hell is Stephen Fry and his House cameo? I’ve been begging for this since the series started!
I think Fox has taken all its allotted Stephen Fry cameos and poured them into “Bones.” He shows up (or showed up; I stopped watching the show when they decided to make fun of Muslims and other ethnic and social minorities) there as David Boreanaz’s psychologist.
“Would you mind if I just changed one… tiny aspect of it?”
“Which one?”
“The words?”
And this is why I need to own the Blackadder series(es). Pure hilarity and genius.
My love for him is endless. 🙂
Yeah – I think I could settle for being that man’s tart.
Yep
Most definitely.
And don’t forget his fabulous turn as “Lord Monty” in the “Bambi” episode of “The Young Ones.”
And Emma Thompson. That show was a who’s who of up and coming British superstars. If only for one season…sigh…
Believe it or not, it ran for two seasons…it’s just that British shows have ridiculously short seasons (they actually call them “series,” I believe, which is confusing). And lasting for more than one season there is considered a raging success.
Must. find and watch.
And great icon.
Thanks. I have the “Every Stoopid Episode” boxed set, and I highly recommend it. I watched them again a few years ago and was impressed by how well they stood the test of time.
I see myself spending quality time this weekend searching youtube for more non-House Hugh Laurie.
I loved his understated performance opposite Geena Davis in Stuart Little. No, I mean, I really did.
