Dearest My Friend’s List

So. Paranormal Activity. I am going to see it this weekend. Wanna make it a group grope activity? I say – from experience – that spooky ass movies are ALWAYS better with a large group of friends. And if we can see it at the Alamo – with some vino and munchies – even better, says I.

I have some gaming and a test or two to participate in this weekend. Not to mention said studying for them. I am trying to get a feel for what ya’ll time schedules are like so that we can maybe match up.

What do you say? Sounds fun, don’t it?

PS -> Alamo has it playing all weekend long, so flexible within movie show times.

  1. The alien-abduction genre is one the the few types of films that I still find to be scary. Friday isn’t possible and Saturday night is Voyagers, but I might be able to go at some other time.

    1. Rain,

Unless you accidently spoiled the plot, I think we may be talking about different flicks. There is Paranormal Activity, which is, so far as I know, about ghosts and other such things that go bump in the night.

Also playing is The Fourth Kind – which is about alien abduction.
I would love to see The Fourth Kind as well, though.

  2. I would hypothetically be very interested, but my schedule is full of TEH BUSY this weekend. I know I am free Saturday evening starting around 7ish? But that is the most specific I can be. Other times might work as well, but it’s sort of hard to say because my various activities are so frakking erratic.

But yeah, since my schedule be a totally hot clusterfucky mess, if everyone else decides they want to go at a particular time that works for a vast majority of the populace, and I cannot make it, I will not be offended. I think it would be best if the people who had reasonably-free schedules picked a good time, and then someone gave me a head’s-up, and if I can make it yay! And if I can’t, no harm no foul.

Looks like tomorrow evening at 745 Alamo LC is the one. *bats eyes*

I think I can make that. Somebody will need to save me a seat, though, as I will probably be rushing straight from rehearsal and may not make it in time for any designated rendezvous point that might occur.

Erm, what does LC mean? To which Alamo is it referring? I only know of the 3 (S. Lamar, Anderson, and Downtown), and as far as I can tell “LC” does not refer to any of those, and believe it or not I would like to show up at the correct theater so I don’t have to watch a creepy movie with a bunch o’strangers.

        LC -> Lake Creek
Definitely can save you a seat but will likely be inside already. I will save it near me so we can hold hands an’ all.

Fabulous! I now have written down the theater address and everything! Yay!

  3. A group, a grope, and a movie sounds good, but my response to the horror genre is, “Oh, a horror mov… zzzzzzz”. Just not my cup of tea. Do keep me in mind for similar activities in the future.

Is supposed to deliver what Blair utterly failed to do.

Alamo. Friends. Scary shit. C’mon, you totally wanna!
    😀
