I’ll explain and I’ll use small words so that you’ll be sure to understand, you warthog faced buffoon(s).
Doctor Who is NOT a 16 year old kid.
ETA:
I do realize that he isn’t actually 16 years old.
However, he looks like Bill Nye the Science Guy’s mentally challenged kid brother.
So I’m guessing you don’t like Eleven? He is sorta funny lookin, but then I think most of them started out funny looking and gradually grew on me. Some slower than others.
I’m watching the first ep tonight. Since I can’t recall a first episode of a doctor that exactly went swimmingly, I’m willing to reserve judgement for awhile.
Regeneration episodes are a mixed bag as neither the writers nor actors have a handle yet.
Eleven reminded me a lot of the zanier moments of some of the earlier doctors (3,4 & 5 & a bit of 7)… There’s potential there, now we just have to see what they do with it…
Honestly, the first ep with the new guy was less head-to-desk inducing than several of Rusty’s last few “specials.” I’m cautiously optimistic.
The Doctor is an ancient, lonely, brilliant being in a human-seeming body. The apparent age of that body is fairly irrelevant. 🙂 That said, Matt did a damn fine job on his first day, and I’m eagerly awaiting more.
O.T.
Typically, this subject matter would leave me confused, blinking, and scratching some sort of nagging itch in my nether regions, and it kind of did that, but I just wanted to say:
BEST.
ICON.
EVER.
Re: O.T.
why, thank you 🙂
I made it my ownself.
I’ll save judgment until I see him in action. He’s not the prettiest man to play the Doctor, but then again, Tom Baker wasn’t exactly the most attractive man in the world either.
