I feel your pain. Bureaucracy sucks.
I think the problem is that I am trying to NOT take loans while doing undergrad work.I am planning on getting my Masters at some point and would like to save the loan nonsense for that.
So far we have been paying out of pocket for all of it.But, as we *like* eating regularly and paying our bills, I thought I’d try to get some grants/whatever to cover the gap.
Apparently, that just isn’t done.
Of course it isn’t. it would make sense.
Can’t have that now, can we?
Of course not. if things were easy, it would give people ideas.

The prospect of having to deal with financial aid bullshit is why I will probably never go back to school ever again, even if I wanted to.
I have just decided that I am too old to deal with this level mind numbing stupid.
They can get away with it with the younger set because those youngsters don’t know any better. Me? I about to head up there in person.
