Cunning Plans Need Tails Too

Gods, what a long day. Have I mentioned that I despise my job?
But on the plus side I get to see my Meg today. And dance. I may have to saw my arms off at the shoulders to get sleep this evening. I haven’t had that thorough a workout since…since…Well, since the last time I seriously bellydanced. I can see that I am going to have to do some serious, every DAY practicing to get back to where I used to be. I did, however get compliments from some of the other kids in the class.

Ok, I think I have come up with a cunning plan. It will require some work and some tightening of our belts. But I think that its do-able.
And just having discussed it with Jboy – and he likes it. Esp. the part about all the free massages. 🙂

      1. I did — and I will probably ask you to either “advertise” or something. I am going to study and get my doula certification.
        Comfort, care, help AND self-indulgence for the pregnant woman. Can you imagine being preg and having your doula washing your hair for you?

        I can. I *loved* it when Jboy rubbed my toes and brought me tea when I was doing my Orca bit in the last trimester.

    1. It was a good pain. And I was a good girl. Went straight home, drank a ton o’awater, and took my calcium. 🙂
      I am barely sore today.

  1. In kung fu, we are very fond of that phrase, “No pain, no gain” and I imagine that it might apply to belly dancing, too, in some cases. =)

    I don’t know what plan you’re talking about that is particularly cunning, but hey, go for it!

    I must go now and pray to the storytime gods for attendance at storytime tonight.
