I talked to the nice apartment manager today. I am angling for a discounted apartment – say at $250 – $300 a month – to setup a massage office in.
THEY will get to say that I am their resident/onsite massage therapist (which lets them compete with some of the trendier, resort type complexes around here). And I get a good rate for an office with a waiting room, a kitchen, a bathroom w/shower facilities and a short commute to work.
These are not small considerations. *crosses fingers*
I hope, hope, hope that they do the smart thing and say “yes”. Its a good deal for all involved. Plus, I even will offer discounted rates for those folks who work for the complex.
The only hangup is a legal one. TAA might not let me run a business out of the apartment. The manager is looking into the legalities of it for me. They have a whole legal department that they have to run things through before ANYthing happens. *sigh* It could take up to a month. The timing works out well if they say yes. I should be completely healed from the surgery; or at least enough to go back to work full time as a therapist.

Thanks doll.
You are a massage therapist? If so, I love you. 😀
Love me for I am indeed a therapist. 🙂
I am crossing my fingers for you—how is the recovery period going? It’s been absolutely insane at work and at home recently (as evidenced by my post yesterday), but I want to hear how you’re doing!!!
*comfort* Thank you honey. I am grateful for yours and everyone’s support.
That’s a GREAT idea! Best of luck with it… would definitely be a coup for them AND for you.
Or (from you!) would that be a coop?
*snicker*
Sorry! Bad pun, I know. 🙂
*groan*
I don’t guess gryphons really facepalm… it’d be more like… ceretalon. 😛
ceretalon….from my cere-ing wit!
Oh, man. I should remember to take my pain meds more often. *laugh* They put me in a better mood.
*hugs* to you. and pass one on to Butterfly as well.
