I think the guys in marketing finally went, “O HAY TEH BUNNEEZ AINT WORKINZ”. And some douchebag in upper management went, “I HEYTZ MAI LYFE O HAY WE SHOULD KEEL EGGIGNS.” And then the marketing meeting went, “HAY GUYZ IDEA” “ORLY?” “IA IA, RLYEH FTANGHN” “YA RLY.” And they sent it on down to production, and the only person with any brains in the whole building went, “WTF is this?” but made it anyway else he’d be fired.
In other news, I may make that one with the hammer into an icon.

My favourite one is the one on the garbage can who pushes off the weight. I honestly had no clue what it was doing until it got smooshed.
That’s so awesome. I love how they strip down before committing suicide. And of course, they keep saying “Goo? Goo! Goo, goo, goo.”

I wish more companies would have the sense to lighten up and do stuff like this. I think most of them are simply afraid.
This comes across more like a bunch of non-marketeers in a room having morbid fun, instead of those slick-suited power message types that ‘formulate’ and ‘leverage’ their product to ‘deomographics’.
I’m sure they’ll catch hell for it. I hope they do. That’ll make this sort of marketing all that much more powerful.
