3. That’s a very dangerous gun. Maybe you better let me hang on to this one for you, huh? onyxlynxx and longshot14 The Fifth Element
5. Ooooooh… cockacidal maniac. Ex-porn star. She’s done it all. They say she starred in the world’s first interracial hardcore loop…
msanborn Shaun of The Dead
7. So that’s it. Believe me, I don’t like her half as much as I hate you.
msanborn Singin’ in the Rain
10. I think that I am familiar with the fact that you are going to ignore this particular problem until it swims up and BITES YOU ON THE ASS!
longshot14 and machiavelli_f Jaws
EDIT This is the only one left, guys. First person to guess it correctly (and wants them) gets sent a box of homemade cookies. Open to all:
…Ready?
GO!!!
14. Duck, you sucker
OMG I can’t *believe* I didn’t twig to #3 right off the bat:
The Fifth Element.
Hey…I actually knew one and you beat me to it.
LOL = good job both of youse guys.
And #10 may be Jaws.
Said by the late, great Roy.
Well done 😀
6 out of 15 ain’t bad.
Pretty darn good. I had to ban from playing because she’s my bestest friend. She would have gotten all of them in about a minute and a half, tops.
I must have missed #10 on the original post, It’s Jaws.
I had an idea on #7, but I had to cheat to confirm it. So I makes no claim to it. Great scene, though.
I love great dialogue.
The facial expressions and body language were great, too. I kinda lump this with the “Argument to Beethoven’s 5th,” which is why I had to cheat… got my actors mixed up.
Cooper/Stewart-style under-playing is wonderful, but sometimes I miss well-done Emoting.
#5 – something like ‘East of Eden’ or ‘Strange Days’ ?
Nope.
HINT NUMERO UNO:
It was said to the same guy who starred in Hot Fuzz
Based on your hint, msanborn just guessed what I was thinking.
5 – Shawn of the Dead
oh and 7 – Singing in the Rain 😀
Well done, doll
14. I don’t know as it was used as a line in a film…
but I do know that’s the name of a Sergio Leone flick, supposed to be godawful.
..
*DING DING*
Sergio Leone – ahh, the spaghetti Western.
“Duck, you sucker” is both a line in the movie and one of the titles it used.
Its more commonly known as “Fistful of Dynamite”.
Where would you like those cookies shipped? 😉
Re: ..
That was a line in the movie? Ugh. Now I’m even more glad I’ve never seen it. I just rememberered it from IMDB doing research for another Leone movie.
*laugh* I will donate my share of cookies to your little one, to be rationed out as you see fit. 😉
Re: ..
Awww, I loves the spaghetti Western genre. They’re SO bad, SO cheesy.* The theme song for The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is one of my first thing I gotta hear at work songs. It sorta sets the mood for software bashing, you know? 😀
At any rate, I will make chocolate chip cookies with the Girlie this afternoon.
* – a friend and I used to routinely go to the video store and pick up a stack of truly heinous movies to watch and share with friends. Its how we found out about movies like “Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh”.
