Turkey Day is nigh

The Refugee Thanksgiving is a go. Repeat, Turkey Day is a go!

Der plan – as I know it – is thus:

Baked Mac n Cheese (including one subset containing non-gluten noodles)

Maybe a coconut cream pie, some pumpkin tartlets and the Brownies of Doom

Holls and Chadders
Brocolli-Cheese casserole
Smashed taters
Cornbread dressing

Rolls! ’cause a roll’s a roll 🙂

  1. I’ll be providing the turkey for the N Texas Ufie collective T-Day dinner.
    Amythest didn’t feel like doing since she’s doing all the other cooking. To me, it’s just not T-Day without a turkey, so I volunteered to do it.
    I make a mean turkey, I don’t mind saying…

    1. I agree…that’s why its called Turkey Day

      I was going to do the turkey but a friend of mine (who is rumored to be a fantbulous cook) volunteered.

      I am making the Crack-n-Cheese. Because again, T-day is all about the comfort food. If, at the end of the day, you are not on the floor in a food stupor, making vapid om nom nom motions with your lips – you haven’t done it right.
