I need bookshelves. Desperately.
Do you have some that you want to get rid of?

=chuckle= I’d be making the same request to my friends around here if I actually had a room to put the shelves in. =) For now though, they stay in numbered boxes so the book catalog software can tell me which unreachable box each book is in.
I keep having to go into my boxes of books because I am looking for one. Not having a bookshelf is making me battier than normal.
I thought cataloguing them by the box would solve that problem. Then one the boxes got stacked in the garage, I realized the only way to actually get to the box(es) I need would be to move half the garage. =le sigh= I need to move so I can have a room to put them all on shelves.
I could make one for you, were you to pick up the appropriate materials. I would need brackets and boards mostly.
I understand what the words “bookshelves,” “get,” “rid,” and “of” mean individually. It’s assembling them as you have that’s lost me, though…
Cinderblocks and 2×4’s?
I seem to recall an el-cheapo method, stack the blocks long-end up, slide the boards into the hollows. It ain’t pretty, but its effective.
Wish I could help.
I have a couple short ones that we no longer need.
 unfortunately, all of mine are in use….:D
I have someone who may want my bookcases, but if not, you can buy them 🙂 $20, but its a large heavy bookcase, a smaller lighter bookcase, and a skinny bookcase. I am in San Marcos, though 🙂
Let me know! 🙂 San Marcos is always worth a trip.
*laughs* I hope you found some!
