Its finally, finally going to be cold for more than a day or so. GLEE! Of course, it’s only going to be cold today and tomorrow. Then it goes back to highs of 70-80. *blarg*
BUT, it is supposed to be chilly again for my birthday.*
Now I need a scad of friends to come over and drink cocoa/coffee/hot toddies, toast their tootsies by the fire and play cards. mmmm, Hand-n-Foot and fire….
* – I will be home ALLLL alone. *sob,sniffle,etc* Mister Man has to work on my bday. Howemsoever, there will be a birthday dinner sometime in January for me. 🙂
The Process 
I can’t recall a winter in recent history that was so stubborn to *remain* a winter throughout. Starting late, ending early, mild throughout- yes, I do remember those. This is just nuts!

The weather is odd indeed. It’s this big heavenly fight between brrrcold! and miiiild. No days in between for us, nope…the skies have both kinds of central TX weather!

It’s *supposed* to be cold this time of year. I am not a huge fan of cold weather but that is what snuggly blankets and friends are for. Shaw!
I am loving this cold weather so much it’s not real. It’s crisp in the morning, and wakes you up. i snuggle in with my wife at night.
Now if only it would snow…
