Ok. I have decided…

I officially would like to play Sims.

A. It seems like a fun/cute game.
B. Would be a *great* way to brainstorm new ways to torture my players in upcoming games.
C. Did I mention torture?

Glee for everyone!

    1. I have played B&W, actually. I enjoyed the building processes more than the actual storyline. I also played Evil Genius, which was a ton of campy fun.

      1. I would imagine you can find lots of Sims2 stuff starting today, as the 3rd one is coming out.

The second one is far better (IMO), but the first is awesome if you’ll be playing on an antique PC (used to run it on my P100 Win95 box).

      2. I’ve got a year old computer; so not antique yet. 🙂 I *do* have Frankencomputer* that I am going to re-assemble later this week, if only to access that hard drive and pull off some of the stories that are (fail: me) located ONLY on it. I will take pictures of Frankie and post them once this has occurred.

This is the ‘puter that Connon built
        and Bonnie built
        and we built
This is the ‘puter than we buuuuuuuuuuuuilt
and is more dangerous than we know!

      3. The boys now have our two Frankensteins. They’re decent machines, but some of the hardware is getting pretty old.

I’m thinking of reviving that old Win95/98 box just to play some of my really old games on…

  1. I have a copy of Sims 2 Deluxe that it turned out I didn’t enjoy nearly as much as I thought I would. If it’s what you’re looking for, let me know and I’ll lug it into town this week.

  2. and I are having a good time playing Sims2 together on my XBox. I’d be happier with it if Ossie The Sloppy Bastard would Frikkin’ DIE!

I walled him in, and he came back. Grr.

There is lots of fun to be had putting them in places they can’t get out of. Pools, bathrooms, etc. The food stuff is odd though, sometimes seemingly perfect food makes them puke.
