“eeevil unholy day of Sam-hane!”

This morning’s drive was beautiful. It was a perfect Halloween morning. Ground mist lingered in patches and swags of silver through bare tree branches. The eastern sky was hazily lit by the sun; a huge yet dim orange ball of fire. Too bad that there were other people on the goddamn road. They totally harshed my bliss. Otherwise, I could have really enjoyed the commute into work.

Still and all – can’t complain overly much. Its my favorite time of the year. Its my week with the Girlie; which means that I get to take her Trick or Treating. My sweetie was snuggled in the covers at *our* house, when I left this morning. There are a couple of bumps in the road but we are dealing with them.

The Trick or Treating entourage will be leaving from my house around 6PM. We will be having a quick dinner; probably hamburgers and mac n’cheese— afore we leave. Anyone with kiddoes that wants to join us — or who just wants to be part of Sum’s* Honor Guard will be most welcome. Drop me a line here or in email for directions to our new place**.

** – let me know and I will drop a burger on the grill for ya’ll as well.

I’m back….

What’d I miss?

had any good chucks, lately?

Yesterday was probably the saddest I’ve been since the whole BF-stuck-in-another-state thing started. Combined with the Debacle of the Raise (mine own company), it just crushed the life out of me. Everything was gray, sad, nothing right, etc.

I am not nearly as sad as I was yesterday and then last night. I feel the echoes of that grief in my body this morning, though. After a night of weeping and then a long sleep, today looks better. I’m not precisely happy, mind. Just sort of hollowed out.

More coffee would definitely help, though.

PS….I has new icons. Go look. Some are pretty chuckalicious.
