Bring on the sympathy, damnit!

Have I ever mentioned that I really, REALLY hate needles?

yeah, cause I do.

I’m having to take blood thinner injections – 2x a day, every day for the next coupla weeks or so. Now, I know that that’s not a patch on some diabetic folks who have to do that for the rest of their lives. But we’re not talking about them right now.

NEEDLES!!!!!
Needles, in my flesh!

The horror! The agony!

Mostly the horror, though. The needles are actually pretty tiny. I do have a terribly bruised abdomen though. *sniffle*

  1. I used to be afraid of needles… then I ended up doing this paid medical study where I had to get 150 blood draws over the course of three weekends.

    I got over it.

    heh

It’s amazing the motivator that greed is.

    1. I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!

      that is all.

Well, not quite. At least you were getting paid to have them stuck into you. I am NOT getting paid. And to top it off, the blood thinner makes me lightheaded as hell.

  2. Needles in the abdomen? Eck. But, seriously, don’t let them know you fear them…

Once upon a time, one of the few things that would make me squick was the thought of needles.

    They found out.

I’m now on a medication that must be injected every two weeks. = )
