Essentially a creature I made as a door guardian for a Marvel (classic) campaign I’m running. The heroes dispatched it but only because they got the drop on it.

Creature is odd looking in the extreme. From the “neck” down it appears to be a 3 year old child – albeit mottled gray and green. Its hands end in stubby talons as do its feet. The neck is over 10 feet long and branches out into an umbrella shaped “mouth” that is 25 feet in diameter. The interior of the mouth is deeply black with neither tongue nor teeth. Instead, it contains a number of psuedopods that are its primary feeding apparatus. Each pod is afflicted with a different type of vampirism. There are over 20 pods in each creature’s mouth. It usually lies in wait for its victims with its ‘mouth’ arranged around an entrance; waiting for its food to blunder into its path.
